Made to process lots of small textures at a high rate of speed. Nov 5, Posts: With new drivers and for the price, the Z1 performed quite well compared to Quadro cards other than the QuadroFX. It requires an AGP Pro 50 slot, though. Mon Mar 31, 5: Thanks for any help.

As I understand it, the architectures are completely and totally different.

That would be useful. Tom’s Hardware had an article comparing the X1, the Z1 and various Quadro cards in 3D applications recently.

Thanks for any help. Mon Mar 31, 3: The has the same number of vertex shaders as the Personally I wouldn’t even be thinking of a GeForce Ti based core for professional usage. The Z1 would probably win some, loose some, but not by a large margin either way, unless FSAA was used, then the extra bandwidth should wipe the floor with the May 24, Posts: This means it should be very heavily biased towards texturing, as the more powerful R already sees diminishing returns on more memory bandwidth without increasing core speed.
Sat Mar 29, Methinks a refresh is on the way. Hello all, it’s been a furegl since posting last, but I’m back with a few questions I’m hoping someone will have answers to.
But you’ll pay for it big-time. Jul 21, Posts: Feb 20, Posts: I’m not sure about the cooling, but ATItool is definately compatible with dna drivers works fine with my xt at leastand most likely omega’s as well although most omega grivers include an overclocking program.

ATI FireGL Z1 (MB, AGP) Overview – CNET
The FGLZ1 is essentially a R Pro with a little lower latency memory, and is hence really equivalent to a R pro without 4 of the pixel pipes.
Also, if anyone knows of a cooling solution I can get for this card that will actually fit it and give better performance than the stock firegk, that would be awesome. Ookle fireg, Nov 2, Made to process lots of small textures at a high rate of speed. Made to process very very large textures, but not as many of them.
Your name or email address: The card is at stock voltage. Sun Mar 30, I’d love to see a refresh of the VP line with a competitive consumer card in there somewhere. Sun Mar 30, 5:
